Every writer likes to show off her work in public. I admit this is a vanity of mine to display my work on this site. Most of what is featured here is fan fiction. I may choose to display some of my original work in the future. An excerpt from a novel I was working on at one time is on display at the Les Mis 2017 site.
Commentary both good and bad is welcome, but bear in mind that these are my children. I write because I love it. My motivations for fan fiction are exactly the same as for original fiction: I love these characters and want to tell the stories they choose to tell me.

Enjolras survives the barricades. This novel in progress picks up where the musical left off, although the original novel has had some strong influence.
Liberties include Enjolras' Bonapartist family, Catholic mysticism, and Grantaire's ghost.

Between the scenes of the novel... What happens when Enjolras sends Grantaire off the Richefeu's (Enjolras & His Lieutenants) and R doesn't come back. In progress. Can be considered a prequel to Beyond the Barricade.

This a deleriously happy little story about a mismatched Romeo and Juliet. Romeo being Grantaire and Juliet being Enjolras. It is not properly a story, more a heavily edited RP log, and I lay very little claim to its content. It was Enjolras. An odd Enjolras mind you, but it was him. Grantaire had a little help from half a glass of wine as well.
